Workplace Mediation

Creating inclusive and harmonious workplaces through a neurodivergent lens

At Perfectly Autistic, we specialise in resolving workplace conflicts through understanding, empathy and effective communication.

As a certified workplace mediator with lived experience of neurodiversity, Kelly offers a unique approach that bridges gaps and fosters collaboration.

With over 20 years in senior corporate roles, Kelly knows what it’s like to be on both sides of the table.

After being diagnosed as autistic and ADHD in his 40s, his disclosure at work led to conflict and misunderstanding, giving him first-hand insight into the challenges many neurodivergent employees face. But having also managed teams and led divisions, Kelly understands the pressures managers encounter too.

This dual perspective shapes his mediation style. He combines professional expertise with lived experience to resolve conflicts with empathy, understanding and practicality, helping both employees and managers find solutions that work for everyone.

Why choose mediation?

Workplace conflicts don’t just affect the people involved. They can ripple through a team, lowering morale, harming relationships and even leading to talented employees leaving. For neurodivergent colleagues, these challenges often come from differences in communication styles, sensory needs or expectations that aren’t fully understood.

Mediation offers a different way forward. It’s a confidential, voluntary process where a neutral mediator helps people talk openly, find common ground and rebuild trust.

Instead of jumping straight into grievances or formal procedures, mediation creates space for real conversations that lead to real solutions.

With mediation, you can:

  • Resolve issues early, before they escalate

  • Strengthen team relationships and morale

  • Save time, stress and unnecessary costs

  • Retain valued employees by listening to and addressing their concerns

How it works

Initial call
You’ll have a free, no obligation conversation with Kelly to talk through the situation and see if mediation is the right step.

Preparation
Kelly will then have confidential conversations with everyone involved, to understand different perspectives and make sure everyone feels ready for the session.

Mediation session
In the session itself, Kelly creates a safe and constructive space where all parties can speak openly, be heard and work together towards a resolution.

Follow-up
If needed, Kelly can also offer follow-up support such as coaching or training, to embed positive changes and keep things on track.
