Why train with us?

Hester adds her lived experience of ADHD and neurodiversity alongside her background as a certified ADHD coach.

A former TV presenter and BBC radio host, Hester began her career on Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff before moving into production roles at ITV. She went on to work in PR and communications for brands such as Hitachi Capital and the British Dyslexia Association.

This means when you join the Academy, you’re not just learning “how to train”.

You are gaining direct insight from professionals who combine lived experience with corporate expertise, shaping the future of neurodiversity in workplaces, on stage and in the media.

We’ve spent the last five years running Perfectly Autistic, delivering training to tens of thousands of people and helping hundreds of organisations embed lasting change.

Our clients include Red Bull Racing, TUI, Sony Music, Marks and Spencer, British Airways, the NHS, and more. Our work spans corporate training, neurodiversity consultancy, keynote speaking, ADHD coaching, workplace mediation and even a UK-wide theatre tour, all about ADHD and neurodiversity.

Kelly brings a unique perspective as one of the few certified workplace mediators who is also autistic and ADHD. Prior to that he was in senior corporate roles across the UK and internationally. He has worked in industries including media, recruitment, manufacturing and travel and entertainment, working for brands such as PepsiCo, Merlin Entertainments, and News International.

Got a question?

  • The Academy is designed for anyone who wants to become a credible neurodiversity trainer or consultant. That includes ADHD coaches wanting to expand into workplace training, HR or DEI professionals looking to upskill. Also existing coaches or consultants adding neurodiversity to their portfolio, or individuals with lived experience who want to turn their passion into professional impact.

  • No. We’ll teach you everything you need, but an interest and passion about neurodiversity is key. From workshop design and delivery skills to handling questions confidently. Whether you’re new to training or already experienced, the Academy will help you develop a clear structure, polish your delivery, and build your consultancy.

  • Unlike pre-recorded or generic “train the trainer” programmes, this Academy is taught live by us - Kelly and Hester.

We’ve trained tens of thousands of people through Perfectly Autistic, delivered consultancy to global brands, and Hester has toured the UK with her show ADHD Unmasked.

We bring our lived experience: Kelly is autistic and ADHD, and Hester has ADHD. That blend of professional expertise and personal insight makes this a unique and practical learning experience.

  • By the end of the programme, you’ll have the confidence and tools to deliver impactful neurodiversity awareness training. You’ll receive a certification as a Certified Neurodiversity Trainer via Perfectly Autistic Academy.

You’ll also have strategies to begin growing your own consultancy or training business.

  • No and that’s intentional. Instead of handing you a “one-size-fits-all” script, we help you develop the skills, confidence and framework to design your own workshops.

This ensures your training reflects your unique style, expertise and any lived or relevent experience, making it more authentic and impactful.

  • Not at all. While many of our participants are autistic, ADHD or other neurodivergences themselves, the Academy is open to anyone who wants to champion neuro-inclusion.

What matters most is a genuine commitment to making workplaces and communities more inclusive.

  • The course runs over six weeks, with a 2-hour live session each week on Microsoft Teams.

You’ll also want to allow 1–2 hours a week for reflection, practice or applying what you’ve learned.

Everything is designed to be manageable alongside work and life commitments.

  • To keep it interactive and personal, we limit each cohort to 12–15 participants.

This allows for plenty of discussion, practice and feedback.

  • Yes. you’ll leave with strategies, resources and connections from your cohort.

We also plan to offer optional ongoing support for Academy graduates, so you can keep developing your skills and building your consultancy.
