The benefits of a neurodiverse workforce

Neurodiversity describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving. Differences are not viewed as deficits.

Neurodivergent conditions include autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and Tourette syndrome, plus others.

By having a neurodiverse workforce it ensures different ways of thinking and different ways of working, which increases creativity and innovation.

Our story

With more years than Kelly and Hester care to count, they both have an impressive career in their respective fields. With Kelly’s corporate background with global corporations such as PepsiCo, News UK and Merlin Entertainments, he has worked across industries including recruitment, FMCG, construction and workplace interiors. He knows how to recruit, build and grow teams.

Hester has an extensive background in media and PR, having started her career at ITV working on a host of shows including Loose Women and Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff. She moved into PR working both in-house for organisations including British Dyslexia Association, Hitachi and Randstad and for a host of PR agencies.

With Kelly being diagnosed as autistic and with ADHD in his forties and Hester being diagnosed with ADHD later in life too, they want to ensure that using their years of experience, organisations understand the power that neurodiversity in the workplace brings.
